A change in Students Mentality/ personality.

This topic is a complex subject to handle but I'm just giving my view, I recently visited my school after 7 long years, it was surreal to see the major changes in the school as well as the students personality. It's a wonderful moment to relive our school memories.
 
When we were in school we were so focused on what goes on in our lives and how to build our characters, but now a days students are more bothered about others life rather than their own, they compare their lives with others and are mostly never happy with their own lives.
  
The most bizarre thing I got to know from one of our teachers is that the students are not focused on studies, they are thinking that life is all about social media and impressing others. Every Person is unique in their own ways, but people fail to see this and continue to run in the rat race just like everyone.
 
I feel that students should focus on building their personality because school is the only place where we can learn and develop our character. Once we step into the real world its difficult to learn and adapt for all the expectations. 

Technology is important to grow but people tend to forget about it and get addicted to Social Media. Every individual should be aware of the impact a social media platform has on their lives.
 
Even a fight and misunderstanding continues for days which was never the same in our days in school, if we had a fight after the day ends its forgotten and the next day will be a fresh start. But now a days the students fight in school and they continue to fight through messages/Phone calls and the fight escalates to another level for the days to come. And I feel that because of so many distractions students are not living in the present, they are more bothered about tomorrow, which never comes.

At the end of the day Students should concentrate on developing themselves and their character & personality because school shape us for the real world.

Firstly is should be thankful to you for taking up such a important and good topic. I feel each and every sentence makes sense. Appreciate your efforts to make people understand about the reality and not to live on social media. Especially when you stated about the fights I feel the same was during my days also.expecting much more writing from your end.

 Hello Stranger, I apologize for never written about you, its not because I forgot the incident but perhaps I learned, understood and realized that without your guidance on that particular day I wouldn't have faced the perverts in public transport. I would've continued to ignore and given a bigger chance for them. I don't know if you can relate or not but I was advised by my family to stay silent and avoid confrontations with strangers. You see I don't blame them, they just want me to be safe and sound in society.  A simple advice from you on the early morning route to college changed my view on being silent all along with the harassments in public transports. I don't remember you so well because you just told me to start rising my voice otherwise this may continue and you got off the bus.
