Are you Sirius? The Brightest Star in the sky!!

 A Star which is the Brightest in Earths Night sky!  The meaning of the star "Glowing" is derived from Greek a very fitting name because it was so bright even in Ancient times. Sirius is also knows as the "Dog Star", because it is located in the Canis Majoris constellation which is Latin for "The greater dog". It is a Binary Star meaning two Stars that are bound to orbit each other. Although Visibly it looks like one star, it actually consists of two stars that are very close together known as Sirius A & Sirius B . (The below image shows the brightest star- Sirius A and the white Dwarf - Sirius B). Sirius is twice as massive as the Sun and is 8.6 Light years away from Earth.  It is visible in the evening skies in Late summer & Winter in the East and a easy way to find Sirius in the winder evening skies is to locate Orion which dominates this particular region.
